Ann Gisolfi is an accomplished negotiator of technology-driven transactional matters involving licensing, collaborative and sponsored research agreements, CRADAs, joint development agreements, strategic alliances, and establishment of joint ventures. Ann also works with clients developing strategies for licensing and enforcing intellectual property.

Ann spends a significant amount of time conducting investment-related due diligence investigations for start-ups. In connection with such matters, she often develops and implements strategies for securing and strengthening IP rights.

Ann works on interferences involving diagnostic assays, complex chemicals, antibodies, and genes, among others. Besides consulting and interferences, Ann has been involved in diverse intellectual property litigations, acting for both plaintiffs and defendants, involving pharmaceuticals, diagnostic assays, papermaking machinery, ice cream, and bowling devices, among others. In addition, she has prepared and prosecuted patent, trademark, and copyright applications and has rendered opinions as to inventorship, infringement, and validity of intellectual property rights.

Ann is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York Intellectual Property Law Association.
