Barbara's practice covers China-focused mergers and acquisitions, work for issuers and sponsors in relation to listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as well as private equity transactions. Barbara regularly advises on:
• general corporate and commercial matters, corporate finance, takeovers and mergers, corporate restructuring, securities law and regulatory compliance, and banking
• China inbound investments in a variety of industries ranging from financial institutions to food and beverage processing to infrastructure developments, outbound investments from Chinese entities into Hong Kong and other areas, and resolution of disputes between Chinese entities and overseas investors and
• international business transactions, including start-up for foreign investors, transfer of business, joint ventures, partnerships, franchising, and licensing.
Barbara is a native of Hong Kong and is a member of the Law Society of Hong Kong and the Law Society of England and Wales (non-practising). She is also a China-appointed attesting officer appointed by the PRC Ministry of Justice.
