Chris Kelly oversees the Firm's capital markets practice. His practice is concentrated in the areas of corporate finance, securities, and corporate governance matters. Chris's clients include: Albertson's, Alderwoods Group, Athersys, Axsys Technologies, Federated Department Stores, GenCorp, GXS Corporation, Harsco, iBiquity Digital, KeyCorp, MTC Technologies, National City Corporation, Omnicom Group, OMNOVA Solutions, Park-Ohio Corporation, Penton Media, PolyOne Corporation, and The Timken Company in a variety of venture capital, public offering, Rule 144A offering, reorganization, and acquisition transactions. In addition, Chris is head of the Firm's Sarbanes-Oxley Act team and advises companies on such matters.
Over the last several years he has also represented financial institutions and investment firms such as Jefferies & Company, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, KeyBanc Capital Markets, Lehman Brothers, and RBC Capital Markets in corporate finance transactions.
Chris is currently listed in Chambers & Partners' USA Guide to the World's Leading Lawyers. His placement in the publication was determined through in-depth interviews with both clients and attorneys. Additionally, Chris was rated "AV" by Martindale-Hubbell's Peer Review Rating.
