Giovanni Marini heads the Milan real estate practice. He has several years of experience assisting domestic and international clients in all kinds of real estate transactions. In particular, Giovanni has assisted national and foreign clients in the development of commercial and residential properties, offices, and industrial premises in complex joint ventures (such as significant real estate nonperforming loans transactions), financial leases, corporate finance, and asset finance. His activity deals with all issues of construction, financing, insurance, environmental, and administrative law.
Giovanni is highly experienced in complex corporate reorganizations and restructuring. He has acted primarily for English- and French-speaking clients, including U.S. and German multinational companies. He is familiar with issues and areas of the law related to corporate matters, such as intellectual property and industrial property, antitrust, and labor.
He has also practiced in Washington, London, and Brussels and has a broad corporate and commercial background with a substantial practice in international and domestic mergers and acquisitions.
He occasionally writes and lectures on issues of Italian real estate, corporate, and commercial law.
