Jeff Schlegel is co-head of the Firm's global oil and gas team and has extensive experience in international and domestic project development (transactional, structuring, engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and other commercial arrangements), mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and securities and finance transactions for energy participants, particularly in hydrocarbons and petrochemicals infrastructure. Jeff has also represented domestic and multinational companies in a variety of public and private transactions, including inbound and outbound investment, and cross-border transactions in a wide variety of industries in Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and North America.
Jeff is past chair of the International Section of the Institute for Energy Law, a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, a regular speaker at energy conferences, and the past editor of the Texas Transnational Law Quarterly, published by the State Bar of Texas.
