Jonathon specialises in outsourcing and other technology transactions. He advises suppliers and customers on outsourcing arrangements, IT licensing, systems and software acquisitions, procurements, and technology regulations. His practice covers information technology, licensing, data protection and privacy, and e-commerce as well as telecoms regulatory requirements. Prior to joining Jones Day, Jonathon was a founding member of the technology practice Kemp Little LLP.
Jonathon has worked on a range of outsourcing agreements for EDS as well as high-value transactions for Aon, TeCom (the second mobile telephony licence holder in the UAE), T-Mobile, Simpay, the BBC, Credit Suisse, Standard Chartered Bank, and QBE Insurance.
Before qualifying as a lawyer Jonathon worked as a systems consultant with Andersen Consulting.
