Marcus Woo has extensive experience in cross-border investment, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, technology licensing and transfers, government procurement, and general corporate and commercial matters including advising on issues relating to nonperforming loans and other distressed assets. His practice in recent years has included representing telecommunications, entertainment software, and other high-technology companies with interests and transactions in mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong as well as in Southeast Asia.
Marcus has extensive experience in the representation of major foreign companies on transactions involving business formations, joint ventures and business structurings, mergers and acquisitions, and infrastructure equipment procurement. He has particular experience in the area of wireless telecommunications and has advised on legal and regulatory issues governing licensing of spectrum and radio frequency transmission equipment, licensing, and transfer of technology and know-how.
Marcus is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Chamber of Commerce. Born in California, Marcus is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
