Neil Seaton has practiced in the corporate/corporate finance arena in the City of London for 28 years. He joined the Firm in 1980 and became a Partner in 1985.
His practice focuses on joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity, with particular emphasis on the real estate sector and in limited partnerships, unit trusts, and other real estate and private equity fund structurings.
His clients include Arlington Business Parks Partnership, Botts & Company, CalEast Holdings, CBRE Investors, CIT Group, Fexco, GIC RE International, Goodman European Business Parks Fund, Goodman International, Jockey Club Racecourses, NBGI Private Equity, Savills, and Spinvox.
Neil's recent representations include:
• Arlington Securities Limited on the establishment of Arlington Business Parks Partnership (ABPP), a U.K. limited partnership, formed for the purpose of acquiring Arlington Securities U.K. business park portfolio valued at approximately £800m, and the subsequent admission of external parties as partners of ABPP
• Arlington Securities Limited on its acquisition of various subsidiaries of Aberdeen Asset Management plc involved in property asset management, property investment, and property fund management activities for up to £50m and the raising of shareholder equity and bank finance for the purposes of the acquisition
• ARL Holdings, Inc., Legal & General Assurance Society Limited, and Arlington LP Limited on the sale of units in Arlington Business Parks Unit Trust for approximately £83m
• Arlington Securities Limited on the establishment of a 50/50 joint venture between Arlington and Unilever to acquire for approximately £32m and hold Unilever's Colworth Park research base as a standing investment and to develop the remaining 100-acre site into a world class science and research park and the raising of senior debt and shareholder equity debt for the acquisition
