Asia

the $900 million Guangdong LNG Terminal & Trunkline Project, China's first LNG import project, Project Finance International Asia-Pacific Oil & Gas Deal of the Year, and Asian Legal Business and FinanceAsia deals of the year in 2004. We represented the project company and its sponsors, led by CNOOC and BP Global Investments, from the earliest stages of the project, beginning with the selection of BP as foreign partner in 2001, through the successful project financing.
advising the Transasia Pipeline Company (a joint venture comprising ConocoPhillips, Petronas, Singapore Petroleum, and Talisman) on the first gas transmission project in Indonesia to involve private-sector investors.

Europe

the formation of the $18 billion TNK-BP joint venture, the largest Russian cross-border M&A transaction to date. We currently advise TNK-BP on the development of the Kovykta pipeline project to transport natural gas from Eastern Siberia to China and South Korea.
representing Total in its option to acquire 30.3% of a joint venture with Gaz de France for the construction and operation of an LNG terminal at Fos Cavaou, South of France.

Americas

advising two major oil & gas companies in connection with their respective LNG activities in the U.S., including the development of new LNG import terminals.
representing a national oil company in connection with Latin America LNG developments.
advising BP on the development of an Alaskan natural gas pipeline.
