Greg Lanier litigates intellectual property and related business matters for clients based in Silicon Valley and around the globe. Greg has handled cases in a diverse range of technologies, from semiconductors to life sciences and clinical trials. Greg also advises regarding IP issues arising in business transactions, such as M&A. Greg's representative clients have included Aradigm Corporation, Genencor International, SanDisk Corporation, Motorola, and SAP.

Greg has tried cases to juries, judges, and arbitration panels across the U.S. and has argued before a variety of federal and state appellate courts, including the Federal Circuit. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Intellectual Property Law Section of the American Bar Association. Greg served as an adjunct professor at UC Hastings College of the Law, teaching patent litigation from 2002 to 2007, and is a member of the board of trustees of the 1066 Foundation.

Greg serves as the Administrative Partner of the Firm's Silicon Valley Office and coordinates the Firm's Intellectual Property Practice in Northern California.
