Jones Day named a Law360 Regional Powerhouse in Ohio
The Firm was named a Law360 2023 Ohio Regional Powerhouse, one of three firms recognized for "handling some of the biggest deals and most high-profile courtroom battles." Editors noted that the Firm's "local roots and global reach have solidified its presence as a regional powerhouse."
Over the last year, lawyers in Cleveland and Columbus collaborated with their colleagues throughout the Firm on multi-billion dollar acquisitions for many of the Buckeye State's most well-known companies across a wide range of industries while also successfully litigating prominent state and federal bet-the-company cases. The publication highlighted that some of the Firm's Ohio-based clients have been with Jones Day for a hundred years, and that their growth has paralleled the Firm's own expansion into a fully integrated global law firm.
The Firm was also recognized for its Ohio-based lawyers' representations on significant cross-border matters—often leading teams of colleagues based in Jones Day's offices in Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
