EDS resolves derivative class action
Client(s) Electronic Data Systems Corporation
Jones Day represented certain current Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS) officers and directors in derivative cases filed in Collin County, Texas and in the Eastern District of Texas arising out of the facts alleged in the underlying securities litigation. Plaintiffs asserted claims for breach of fiduciary duties, abuse of control, gross mismanagement, constructive fraud, waste, unjust enrichment, contribution and indemnification The parties reached a settlement and, on January 30, 2008, the federal court signed a Final Judgment and Order of Dismissal. All of the actions have been dismissed.
