Client obtains pardon by Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro
Client(s) Gibson, Aaron
Jones Day successfully represented Aaron Gibson in connection with his application to receive a pardon for a nearly 30-year old drug-related crime. Jones Day submitted Mr. Gibson's clemency application and represented him during his hearing before the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons, a five-person panel that included Lt. Governor Austin Davis, Attorney General Michelle Henry, and others. The Board unanimously recommended that Governor Shapiro grant Mr. Gibson a pardon. Less than two months later, Governor Josh Shapiro accepted the Board's recommendation and granted Mr. Gibson a pardon.
