Large international private bank's German branch relieves its RWA via EIB and SRT

Jones Day drafted a memorandum for a large international private bank operating in Germany via its local entity to document its synthetic risk transfer (SRT) via a credit guarantee provided by the European Investment Bank ("EIB") in alignment with the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR). The secured claims were granted for purposes in line with the EIB's investment goals to foster the European single market.
