Jones Day represented Daughters of Charity Hospital System in its efforts to acquire Downey Regional Medical Center, a chapter 11 debtor, through a plan of reorganization. Daughters of Charity is a regional health care system of six hospitals and medical centers on the California coast providing holistic, spiritually centered care for the sick and poor.
