Summer associates advise Shedd Aquarium

Client(s) Shedd Aquarium

Chicago office summer associates have worked for the environmental advocacy team at Shedd Aquarium for many years. They prepare white papers summarizing the legal framework for issues that the aquarium is facing and present the results in a meeting with the aquarium's conservation department. The white papers this summer focused on the Chicago River diversion, regulation of Great Lakes water levels and numeric nutrient standards for water discharge permits. The project received notice in a recent Chicago Daily Law Bulletin article.
