North American biotech company obtains dismissal of English Court proceedings in relation to ICC arbitration

Client(s) North American biotech company

Jones Day acted for a North American biotech company in proceedings under sections 67 and 68 of Arbitration Act 1996 relating to the identity of the respondent to an ICC arbitration. After Jones Day successfully resisted an application for permission to serve English Commercial Court proceedings on a third party to that ICC arbitration, the claimant discontinued its claim against our client.
