Heatcraft secures settlement in patent infringement action related to refrigerated display merchandisers

Client(s) Lennox International Inc.

Jones Day represented Heatcraft Refrigeration Products, LLC and Heatcraft, Inc. in a patent infringement dispute with Hussmann Corporation. Hussmann alleged that certain of Heatcraft's Stratus refrigerated display cases infringed a patent relating to air cooling systems in commercial refrigerated merchandisers. Following summary judgment briefing, the case was resolved by settlement.
