Fluor defeats RCRA and Clean Water Act citizen suit and settles CERCLA claims in California

Client(s) Fluor Corporation

Jones Day represented Fluor Corporation in a CERCLA cost recovery and RCRA/CWA citizen suit relating to alleged contamination at its former wood treatment plant in Windsor, California. After securing dismissal of the RCRA and CWA claims and partial summary judgment against the plaintiff on its CERCLA cost recovery claims, Fluor settled the case.
