UHC sues United HealthGroup over UHC trademark

Jones Day represents University HealthSystem Consortium ("UHC") in its suit brought against United HealthGroup in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois rising out of United HealthGroup's confusingly similar use of UHC's trademark UHC. Opposition proceedings in the United States Patent and Trademark Office over United HealthGroup's applications to register marks encompassing UHC were filed earlier this year.
