Arch disputes joint venture with Riamo Holdings GmbH

Jones Day represents Arch Industries BV, a company belonging to the DP Holding Group, in a joint venture dispute with Riamo Holdings GmbH, concerning the Novero Group. In proceedings initiated before the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal, Riamo was suspended as CEO of Novero, a new director was appointed by the Court, and the shares in Novero were given in custody to an administrator. The court appointed director subsequently sold the subsidiaries of the Novero Group to an entity that was part of the DP Holding Group. This transaction was sanctioned by the Enterprise Chamber and subsequently also by the Supreme Court.
