Sagevas, World Football Association, and Belgische PMU pursue successful abuse of dominance complaint against Belgian National Lottery

On behalf of Sagevas SA, the World Football Association, and Belgische PMU, Jones Day filed a complaint with the Belgian Competition Authority against the Belgian National Lottery for abusing its dominant position in the national sports betting market during the commercial launch of its sports betting product Scooore! Following a dawn raid and investigation of the complaints, the Authority's Investigation and Prosecution Service imposed a fine of €1,190,000 on the National Lottery.
