Jones Day represented a prominent office technology and IT solutions company based in New York and New Jersey in connection with its claims for insurance coverage resulting from a competitor lawsuit alleging business torts and defamation. The New Jersey insurance coverage lawsuit handled by Jones Day sought damages for the excess insurance company's bad faith and breach of contract in failing to contribute to the settlement of the competitor lawsuit. The insurance company agreed to settle the lawsuit for a confidential amount.
