Lennox International successfully defends against FLSA nationwide collective action

Jones Day represented Lennox Industries, Inc. in its defense of claims by a former Store Manager at a Lennox PartsPlus location in Illinois, who alleged that he and other Lennox PartsPlus Store Managers nationwide were improperly classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. After limited class discovery, Jones Day negotiated a very favorable settlement and release of Plaintiff's claims.
