Jones Day assisted the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in drafting and filing an amicus brief in the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York supporting the position of defendant/appellee black car companies that the drivers for such companies are properly classified as independent contractors rather than employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
