Jones Day represents the former supervisory directors of Fairstar Heavy Transport B.V. in a directors' liability suit initiated by Dockwise N.V. and Fairstar. In the summer of 2012, Dockwise N.V. acquired all shares in Fairstar Heavy Transport B.V. in a hostile takeover. Dockwise N.V. are accusing the former management and supervisory board of Fairstar of withholding crucial information from the market and of misleading the market about the company's financial situation in the 2011 annual accounts. The lawsuit was initiated by Dockwise and Fairstar following the hostile takeover of Fairstar by Dockwise.
