Shiseido Americas acquires Gurwitch Products

Jones Day advised Shiseido Americas Corporation ("Shiseido Americas"), a subsidiary of Shiseido Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Stock Exchange, First Section: 4911), a leading global cosmetics company, in connection with the acquisition of Gurwitch Products, LLC ("Gurwitch") from Alticor, Inc. Gurwitch is a manufacturer and marketer of global prestige cosmetics and skin care brands including Laura Mercier® and RéVive®.

In addition to M&A representation, Jones Day provided intellectual property, tax, and antitrust advice regarding this transaction.
