ProScholars Athletics obtains non-profit exempt status

Jones Day assisted ProScholars Athletics, Inc. ("PSA"), a U.S. organization that runs a sports-based college preparatory program for underserved youth in the New York area, in obtaining a tax-exempt status ruling from the Internal Revenue Service. PSA uses sports to create social and scholastic opportunities for its student athletes and assist in placing them on a college-bound track at some of the best schools in the region.
