Parker Hannifin acquires CLARCOR for $4.3 billion

Jones Day advised Parker Hannifin Corporation in its $4.3 billion acquisition of filtration company CLARCOR Inc. Parker has purchased all of the outstanding shares of CLARCOR for $83.00 per share in cash. Since closing the transaction, CLARCOR is now combined with Parker's Filtration Group to form a leading and diverse global filtration business.

In addition to M&A representation, Jones Day provided employee benefits, tax, and regulatory advice regarding this transaction.
