Morgenthaler forms MPE Partners II, L.P.

Jones Day advised Morgenthaler Private Equity in the formation of MPE Partners II, L.P., a private equity buyout fund ("MPE II"). MPE II closed at its hard cap with $250 million in capital commitments from institutional and individual investors. Morgenthaler Private Equity is a Cleveland, OH and Boston, MA based private equity firm managed by Peter Taft, Karen Tuleta, and Joe Machado. MPE II will invest the raised capital into industrial manufacturing and services companies.
