Stanford Health Care enters into "accountable care organization" agreement with self-funded employer

Jones Day advised Stanford Health Care ("SHC") in connection with the negotiation of an "accountable care organization" arrangement with a well-known Silicon Valley technology company, pursuant to which SHC will coordinate and manage the provision of health care services furnished to enrollees of the company's self-funded health benefit plans and will assume financial accountability for the cost and quality of services furnished to the company's enrollees.
