Client(s) Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, The

Jones Day advised The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hawthorne Hydroponics LLC ("Hawthorne Gardening"), in connection with Hawthorne Gardening's purchase of the assets of Sunlight Supply, Inc. and various of its affiliates for $450 million. The transaction is expected to greatly enhance the ability of Hawthorne Gardening to meet the need of the rapidly evolving hydroponics marketplace.
