Jones Day successfully represented a tax-exempt hospital and its affiliate in connection with the internal investigation and voluntary disclosure to the IRS of political activities that posed a risk of loss of tax-exempt status. The matter resulted in a binding closing agreement with the IRS on favorable terms.
