Western Digital and SanDisk resolve multi-patent case related to NAND flash semiconductor devices and manufacturing processes

Client(s) Western Digital Technologies Inc.

Jones Day represented defendants Western Digital Corporation and SanDisk LLC in a multi-patent case related to semiconductor devices and manufacturing processes. Western Digital and SanDisk's industry-leading NAND flash devices, and the processes used to fabricate these devices, were accused of patent infringement. The asserted patents were originally owned by Advanced Micro Devices. The lawsuit was successfully resolved in 2017 prior to claim construction.
