Jones Day advised Solus Alternative Asset Management and Deutsche Investment Management Americas in connection with the recapitalization of Geo Specialty Chemicals, a manufacturer of specialty chemicals for customers in the United States and internationally.

The transaction consisted of private exchanges of outstanding notes for new floating rate senior secured second lien convertible notes and amendments to the company’s existing credit agreement and subordination agreement with the company’s first lien lenders.
