IT provider prevails in agency-level protest

Jones Day successfully represented a leading application networking, load balancing and DDoS protection solutions provider in an agency-level protest of a task order competition conducted by the Defense Information Systems Agency. Partnering with resellers, the client offered hardware and software solutions designed to accelerate and secure data center applications and networks for large enterprise systems. The protest challenged the resellers’ exclusion from the competitive range based on alleged problems with the Agency’s testing and evaluation of the proposed solution. The protest also raised concerns with the presumptive awardee’s solution. Two weeks after the protest was filed, the Agency took corrective action, modified the solicitation to address the alleged errors, and reinstated the resellers to the competitive range so they could compete for the requirement.
