Baker Hughes sells natural gas solutions business to First Reserve and Pietro Fiorentini

Jones Day advised Baker Hughes, a GE company (BHGE), in the sale of its global Natural Gas Solutions (NGS) business to two separate buyers, First Reserve and Pietro Fiorentini. The NGS business manufacture and market certain industrial products, including gas meters, chemical injection pumps and electric actuators.

Pietro Fiorentini acquired the Talamona, Italy branch of BHGE’s NGS product line. First Reserve, a leading private equity firm focused exclusively on energy, acquired the balance of the NGS business.
