Jones Day advised Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. in the buyout of its joint venture partner in Kaynak Teknigi Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. ("Askaynak") to advance Lincoln Electric's regional growth strategy. Lincoln Electric has owned a 50% interest in Askaynak since 1998. Askaynak is a well-known supplier and manufacturer in Turkey of welding consumables, arc welding equipment, and robotic welding systems.
