PTTEP acquires additional shareholding in APICO LLC

Client(s) PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited

Jones Day represented PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited ("PTTEP"), a publicly listed petroleum exploration and production company based in Thailand, in connection with its subsidiary, PTTEP HK Holding Limited, acquiring an additional 39% stake in APICO LLC from Coastal Energy Company (Khorat) Limited. The deal, which has a total transaction value of approximately USD 74 million, increases PTTEP's share in APICO LLC to 72.8%. APICO LLC is a Delaware entity that holds interests in several blocks of onshore Thailand, including in the Sinphuhorm gas project in northeast Thailand.
