Jones Day has advised and successfully settled on behalf of a major middle-eastern construction company a significant dispute against the main contractor for prolongation costs, disruption, and other claims arising out of the performance of subcontracting work on a significant refinery project in Saudi Arabia. The dispute also related to the scope of change orders entered into for the settlement of prior disputes.
