Air Evac secures voluntary dismissal of Plaintiffs' claims following opening brief on motion to dismiss

Client(s) Global Medical Response, Inc.

Jones Day represents Global Medical Response, Inc. subsidiary Air Evac EMS, Inc. ("Air Evac") against claims filed in the Southern District of Illinois on behalf of a putative class of consumers alleging that Air Evac charges improper fees for its services. After Jones Day filed a motion to dismiss all of the claims for lack of personal jurisdiction and improper venue, the Plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed all of their claims without filing an opposition, securing Air Evac an early victory.
