Data and document vendor obtains summary judgment in Middle District of North Carolina
Client(s) NextLevel Association Solutions, Inc.
Jones Day successfully defended a data and document vendor which provides a platform for the request and provision of real estate disclosure documents in a putative class action in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, involving claims that the client's service fees were unreasonable and violative of certain state statutes which regulate the provision of disclosure documents by planned community owners' associations, as well as North Carolina's consumer protection laws. Jones Day successfully moved for summary judgment in favor of the client on all eight claims advanced by the plaintiff.
