Major southeast health system resolves claims brought by commercial insurer

Jones Day represented a large hospital system in a dispute with one of the major national health insurance providers. The commercial insurer sued the hospital in arbitration asserting the hospital had breached the parties’ contract in how it had adjusted its chargemaster rates. After many depositions, the case was successfully resolved.
