Jones Day represented an electric utility investigated by FERC's Office of Enforcement for alleged market manipulation and duty of candor violations--referred to FERC by an RTO market monitor--involving the operation of several generation units. After reviewing the company's extensive submissions, FERC closed the investigation without action.
