NXP Netherlands defends patent infringement claims in Western District of Texas

Client(s) NXP Semiconductors N.V.

Jones Day defended NXP Semiconductors Netherlands B.V. in a patent infringement lawsuit brought by its competitor Impinj, Inc. in the Western District of Texas. Impinj alleged that NXP Semiconductors Netherlands B.V. infringes two radio frequency identification (RFID) patents that Impinj asserted against NXP USA in another pending action. The matters were resolved in early 2024.
