CBRE-managed fund invests in venture focused on living sector assets

Jones Day advised a real estate investment fund managed by CBRE Investment Management Indirect Limited (a subsidiary of CBRE Group, Inc.) in its cornerstone contribution to a €150 million vehicle formed by Westwind Capital, a European private equity real estate investment management platform, to acquire a portfolio of modern private rented sector multifamily properties. It is the first European transaction for the fund, and the first investment vehicle raised by Westwind Capital. The portfolio of assets is spread across London, UK, and its commuter suburbs.

CBRE Investment Management Indirect Limited is one of the world’s leading real estate indirect real estate investment managers. On a global basis, it manages more than $40.5 billion of assets.
