Nikon defends infringement claims in EDTX and challenges validity of digital camera patents at PTAB

Jones Day is representing Nikon Corporation in a patent infringement action brought by Optimum Imaging Technologies LLC ("OIT"), a non-practicing entity, in the Eastern District of Texas and at the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board. OIT alleges that Nikon’s digital cameras infringe four patents related to correcting aberrations and distortions in captured images.
