Jones Day advised the Deutschsprachige Gemeinschaft Belgiens (German-speaking Community of Belgium) in connection with its €1 billion update of the EMTN Programme for issuance of Notes. The Deutschsprachige Gemeinschaft Belgiens is a federated entity of the Kingdom of Belgium. Notes qualifying as green bonds, social bonds, and sustainability bonds may be issued under the Programme on the basis of a framework established by the issuer and subject to review by a third party. The Notes may be listed on Euronext Brussels.
