FAZT and Soriana Organization to install 1,000 electric charging stations in Mexico

Jones Day advised FAZT in its partnership with Organizacion Soriana for the development and establishment of a network of 1,000 "ultra-fast charging" stations for electric vehicles, which will be located in the parking lot of Soriana stores in Mexico.

Under this agreement, FAZT expects to install more than 1,000 charging stations in the next six years, expecting to launch the first seven stations during the first quarter of 2025. The next phase contemplates the installation of 50 stations during the second half of next year, which will be located in the main cities of Nuevo Leon, Mexico City, Estado de Mexico and Jalisco.
