Verizon Wireless successfully defends class action for unfair competition

Client(s) Verizon Wireless, Inc.

Jones Day successfully defended Cellco Partnership, dba Verizon Wireless, in a putative class action alleging, inter alia, violation of the California Unfair Competition Law and unjust enrichment. We obtained dismissal on the pleadings before the trial court and an affirmance by the California Court of Appeals in a published opinion.
